The owner/manager was very helpful. It really helped that he spoke fluent English. A surprise Brazilian dinner for guests made the evening special.

Cozy and comfortable. Laundry facilities are very handy for pilgrims. Right on the camino. Market is close by to create delicious things to eat in the kitchen available. Host is attentive, helpful and friendly.
Offering quiet street views, Hostal Las Eras in Cubillos del Sil offers accommodations, a bar, and a shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodations are 22 miles from Las Médulas Roman Mines.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Everything was like a resort. I upgraded to a private room. Was able to book a massage- amazing after a long walk on the Camino. Food, staff and the views esp sunrise - exceptional.
This was the "luxury" hostel along the Camino de Santiago. Large, modern, fairly new, in good condition, very clean. Location at the end of town with terrific view into the valley to the west. Lots of extra facilities like swimming pool and hamman, which we did not use. We had double room with private bath: room large, bed comfortable, good shower. Evening menu delicious.
Best place we stayed on the entire Camino! Wonderful host, welcoming, warm, informative and great company. He has created a fantastic boutique B&B, in a charming stone villa, in a beautiful little village. He has food and drinks available, and makes a terrific breakfast too. A lot of other places could do well to adopt some of his hospitality and customer focus. Spoke to other pilgrims who stayed there, they all agreed it was a highlight of the Camino. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
