- Paul is a lovely host, he was reachable all the time giving great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. He made us feel right at home. Not to mention a great story teller ;)
- The property itself is very nice, quite and relaxing. You'll need a car for sure to be able to reach the property but a car is needed anyways to explore Andalusia.
- Our room was small but sufficient with all the needed amenities and a very comfortable bed.
Jasper (the dog) was an added bonus. So playful and cute.

We stayed for only one night and liked it a lot, friendly, clean and personal. Next time we would use this place as a starting point for activities in the region and would stay longer.

The setting, the peace and quiet, the breakfast, the staff, the relaxing vibe of treating the place like your home. Dinner one evening was served to us as if we had our own in-home, personalised dining service. The personal attention and friendliness of Bernadette is very special.
Only very small issue is that anything else is a small drive away. Iznajar is around 10-15 mins drive, not far at all, but if you like to walk to other places to eat then this isn't really possible, but of course this is also part of the beauty of the property, whihc is why I am not saying we didn't like this aspect of it!

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay for a week at Cortijo Petra. Thanks to Dennis for the lovely daily breakfasts and such warm hosting. Comfortable bed, very clean, nice hot shower, compact but with everything we needed. Thanks again we had a brilliant stay :) we came to climb locally and the house is ideally placed for climbing at the near by areas.

We chose the Deluxe double room with balcony, from where the view across a magnificent landscape was well worth it. A family-run small hotel in an isolated location. Good for some peace and tranquil and for excursions to the El Torcal mountain range and to Antiquera, a nice small town not far away. The Belgian hotel owners offer good food from their native country.

Excellent communication prior to our visit and welcome on arrival. We enjoyed again the rural setting, views, quiet courtyard where we could have a drink and read/play games.
The location in the olive groves is quiet and idyllic.
Juan is very nice. He had good tips about where to go horse riding nearby.
The breakfast was good and included typical regional and even homemade things.
In the evening you can sit on the terrace or in the beautyful courtyard.

Quiet room was spacious, bed comfortable and v clean. Owner very friendly despite our late arrival. Excellent breakfast. Bonus there was a swimming pool in the grounds.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We decided to stay on site and really enjoyed our evening meal. The Continental breakfast in the morning was good with lots of choices, There were lots of home produced foods available. Very quiet location and a real Spanish feel. I am sure there are walks locally but we were only there one night so did not take this opportunity.
The property is beautiful, it's a great location if you want to disconnect from the city.
We spent a night, slept for more than 10 hours in a huge bed with total silence!
Very clean, great attention to detail and very nice hosts.
Best coffee I had in Spain!
