on our tour of spain along the north coast so far, this was our nicest stay ... since we were traveling by train, belén picked us up from the train station ... the accommodation is a kind of pension ... we had the great room facing the garden ... nicely furnished, super clean and equipped with every comfort, even a small fridge ... the large breakfast selection got us well into the day, there was everything the soul desires ... we could use the two bicycles during our stay, so we could go on many tours and enjoy the unique landscape to the fullest ... belén and juan are really unique hosts, we felt like at home ... thank you very much for two wonderful days

Mari Carmen was an amazing hostess. She was so helpful with tickets to Playa de las Cathedrales. She hung our washing out for us and folded it away. You really couldn’t ask for a kinder more helpful owner. The room was immaculately clean with fresh towels every day. The location is also very good for the beautiful beaches.
This rustic guesthouse is situated 3 km from the beach and a 10-minute drive from the seaside town of Foz. Its traditional rooms, with stone walls and wooden beams, have free Wi-Fi.

Gorgeous old farmhouse, incredible location, quiet and peaceful. Especially loved the goats and Inga the house! Carmen the host was fabulous making us a dinner even though hadn’t booked it and especially loved her homemade brandy!

An excellent location and very friendly hosts. Very good local cuisine for dinner. The room was spotless and warm. The bed was firm but comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. Photo is from the bedroom window.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was a little out of the way, so it was quiet and peaceful. The property was beautifully maintained, rooms modern and bright. Our host was friendly and very helpful with what we could do and see in the area. Dinner was made with fresh produce and delicious.
Highly recommend this place. If I ever get the chance to come to Galicia again I would certainly stay here.
What a lovely and charming place! I stayed one night in the Araucaria House, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Maribel is a very kind host. She showed me around and made me feel comfortable. It’s a beautiful big mansion with a delicious interior (great styling and feeling at home). The garden with all the lovely cats and the nice trip to the Cathedral beach are big bonuses for the experience.
I truly love the place and would love to come back again the future!
Spacious, clean, well equipped home in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice to have all necessary kitchen equipment for cooking. Electric blankets on the bed do the good job in the winter time.
Room was spacious, had everything you'd want, excellent shower, fridge, fan, fly nets on windows and a proper hairdryer for my happy wife !
Owner was charming and welcoming, excellent at her job.
A very decent breakfast included too.!
We were welcomed with open arms by Maribel and Manuel. After being shown around the house, we were offered a welcome drink. The accomodation is outstanding, superior to some 5 star hotels. Our room which was downstairs, was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. The walled garden was so quiet and peacefull, a real haven after motoring Northen Spain.
Everything about this place was special. The hosts were charming, the house has been beautifully and creatively renovated, everything is tasteful and even the minutest detail has been considered carefully. The walled garden is a delight, mature, tranquil with an abundance of fruit trees. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable with lovely, crisp linen. The breakfast was relaxed and excellent.
