Chez L’Ami Hotel in Giza was great. The hotel was clean and nice. It had a good balcony, and the Egyptian breakfast was delicious. The rooftop terrace had a fantastic view. The staff was really friendly and always ready to help. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Ahmed and Manal, the hosts, are wonderful people and it won't take you long to realize this. Very kind, super responsive and incredibly helpful, they sincerely care about the well-being of their guests. In addition to their adorable vibes, I can name a few things that I loved:
- The rooftop is simply crazy. Comfortable sofas and unbeatable view: it was a pleasure to stay there at night and to chill a bit with a coffee in the afternoon.
- I received great recommendations for shopping and eating. Just trust the hosts, they know their stuff ;)
- A few minutes away from the entrance of the pyramids (just perfect)
- Great idea from Manal to prepare breakfast in advance so I could wake up early and visit the pyramids.
- I was pleasantly surprised to have a private balcony that also offers a view on the pyramids. It made breakfast even nicer.
- Tea, coffee and water offered along the day.
- Bonus point: you might be able to share the rooftop with a special fluffy guest if you are lucky :) 😸
Long story short: THAT PLACE IS A NO-BRAINER WHEN YOU VISIT THE PYRAMIDS.
