The location was exceptionally privileged for the context of Montañita. Right in front of the sea, far from the noise. The facilities were rustic, "beachy", quaint and cozy. Free parking, A/C and breakfast included for a very affordable price. The staff were always positive, welcoming and had the best attitude the whole time. It's pet friendly, so our two dachschunds had a blast running around their green lawns and clean, wide beach.

very reasonably priced. Various types of rooms. New AC units just installed work great. Wonderful location just in front of surf spot. Gal who worked there was super attentive, kind, and all around very nice. Have yoga mats and beach toys available to guests and an outdoor shower.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The location was excellent, close to everything as Manglaralto is small. The room was exceptionally clean and the young man who did the housecleaning was meticulous in his work. We had a third floor room with a large terrace allowing ocean views a block away.

We had an amazing time at Kamala! We stayed there for 2 weeks. Both the dorms, as well as the private rooms are in excellent condition. Location in between Manglaralto and Montañita allows you to enjoy both villages. Pablo is a great host and he helped us plan our trip to Galápagos. Would definitely recommend!
The location is perfect, next to the beach with private sunbeds. The common areas are beutiful and quiet. There were free coffee, tea and water. The room was quite small but enough for few nights. The own terrace was a plus. Breakfast was delicious. After check out, you can leave your luggage for storage and stay at the common areas till evening if you are taking a night bus for example. Free yoga on Wednesdays. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Great place for relaxing!
Great location, about a 5 minute walk to the beachfront. Quiet in the evenings too! The apartment was spacious, comfy and great for a few days stay. The kitchen was stocked and handy. Loved our stay here.
absolutely chilled place with amazing vibe, do not expect any luxury all is very simple but that is nice, you can stay in private small house or shared room, amazing breakfast, Cliff is doing fantastic job there and Pablo is very welcoming. Big pool, huge garden, bon fire….you can easily walk to Montanita on beach or take a taxi for 1,50$ to center.
The communal areas were really good, a bit dirty but for 35 dollars a week I ain't gonna complain about that. The room/bed were excellent and It was one of the few places I've been to where a net and a fan were provided. And the staff were really charming and kind. Location was about as good as it gets, close to a lot of places to eat that are cheap.
Small cute hotel located on the quieter side of the town, super close to the beach and town center still, the room is cute and spacious, definitely more on the boutique side, good wifi, big bed, own smart tv, private patio, private bathroom, the staffs are a local couple, they're very friendly and helpful even tho we communicate through google translate all the time! They also let me have my spanish class in the common area, and their cats are soooo cute and friendly I miss them already!

Very clean and spacious. We had a private room with private bathroom. Host was very kind and helpful! 1 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to central Montanita. Slept well in our beds and fans helped us stay cool. Great place for a quieter stay!
