Case Canelos is very close to the airport so convenient to get to and from the airport. The rooms are comfortable. A good breakfast is provided, even very early in the morning if one has an early flight to catch. The owner was kind enough to drop us to the airport early in the morning both times we stayed there. All in all a comfortable place to stay if you need to stop over in Guayaquil in between flights.

Great place to stay very close to the airport! The accommodation was very safe as in a locked street only accessible with key. Owners were very friendly and helpful, always reachable via phone in case anything was needed. Happy to come again!

Lovely boutique hotel. Great location in Las Penas. Malecon 2000 and restaurants all within walking distance. Very safe area. Quiet at night. Very good breakfast. Very responsive to any concerns or inquiries. Astrid offered us umbrellas as it was raining. 10 minutes drive to the airport.

A great location within walking distance to the city centre and main attractions within it. We received a lovely friendly welcome and were well looked after by the staff. The room was clean and comfortable, with all we needed. The shower had very low pressure and the toilet took a long time to refill. Easy to get to from the main bus terminal via the city bus system. Recommend for a short stay :-)
This is an welcoming wonderful boutique hotel, amazing staff, just a great place to stay if you like boutique hotels. I stayed in the luxury room with the loft, amazing deal for the money.
Casa Canelos fully deserves 10 out of 10 points. I had my best nights sleep in a long time, really excellent. The host is wonderful and very very supportive. Great location, quiet, very close to the airport. Great value for what I paid. I would definitely come again.
Casa Canelos was a lovely refuge straight from a long night bus from Peru. We were able to check in early and offered an additional breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed huge and comfortable. The very friendly and helpful host family, who live downstairs, made us very welcome. Walkable from the bus station and airport but it's not a pleasant walk (along a really busy wide main road) - 10 mins in a Uber cheap and recommended instead. The house is located in a quiet square away from the traffic.
Great hostel with nice rooftop terrace and well equipped and rather clean kitchen. great location with many restaurants & bars in walking distance. good breakfast-place. well functioning wifi. Well equipped & clean dorms, clean bathrooms, clean showers with hot water. rather quiet for location in el poblado. the tours that are offered by the hostel are reasonably priced compared to TripAdvisor, though expect rather large groups (still recommended).
This hotel is incredibly cheap for what you get. The room was clean and spacious, had a table where I could work, air conditioning and a comfy bed. Obviously it's not a luxury experience, but for the money it is absolutely top notch and I can highly recommend it. I was worried about the location, but felt very save throughout my stay. It's in the buzzling city, so during the day it's bit noisy (at night it's quiet).
