beautiful and charming, decorated in excellent taste, host greeted us and was very welcoming and gracious, comfortable bed, chairs. Loved our room which also had a small sitting area with TV. Though surprised to have a shared bathroom it was absolutely fine. Absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. Small, lovely kitchen with coffee maker. Only wish there weren't steps to climb to our room. It's a home, with few guests, so an elevator wasn't really an option. Well located, close to town. Would absolutely stay there again.

There are three rooms. We had the suite which has a separate bedroom, two other separate living/dining/work areas and a small en-suite bathroom. The large bed was comfortable. The windows have vents so that air can flow without letting in too much light at night. There is also a portable fan, which is a nice edition for the summer.
Breakfast for each room is placed in the refrigerator in the common area. It is nice as the guests can eat on their own schedule. The bake your own bread was particularly delicious. The WiFi and TV worked well.
The location, just on the edge of the city center, is great. It is a very quick walk to all the sights. But the area is very quiet at night.

A real life modernized prison experience. Pls do read their descriptions, we booked a night there before our wedding in the town hall, not realizing it was literally or it used to be an old prison. Imagine coming out of the prison with my wedding dress! 😆 An unforgettable experience but fun! Everyone there is nice.

The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of town. I requested a quiet room which I got. It was at the back so the view wasn't as good but it was worth it for me as there was no noise. A good choice of food for breakfast and complementary hot drinks available during the day and evening which was a nice touch.
