For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The breakfast was wonderful !!!! The Kro was clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was a beautiful old Danish church across the road. The staff spoke English very well ( my Danish is only middling well).
I was traveling with a bike and was planning to sleep in a tent in the woods north to the border, but due to a heavy rain decided to stay in a hotel. So for this last minute decision this was the cheapest option.
This is an Italian restaurant with some rooms and apartments around the side. Lovely quiet location in the countryside a couple of miles from the motorway. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The apartment and separate room we had were basic but fine, and loads of room.
Freshly baked bread provided at breakfast. Good restaurant on-site. Private and spacious car park. Lovely and quiet surrounding. Close to Padborg Park. Good for an overnight stay while driving through Germany/Denmark.
