Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Helene was very friendly, helpful and had good local knowledge. Delicious breakfast with good variety including fresh fruit and home baked bread rolls. The location was good for exploring North Zealand.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The room was a great size with a large and very comfortable bed. The room also had a comfy sofa and armchairs which was great. The location was central but really quiet with only the sound of the birds singing! The whole place was spotlessly clean and very calm and restful. Majken was charming and I would love to stay there again.

A quiet and peaceful location for a restful stay! The rooms and the shared areas are all very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing...no hot meals, but a nice variety of fruits, cheese, and other options, plus delicious home-made rolls and croissants. Majken was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area, so she has great recommendations on places to visit.
