We stayed in the suite at the Andelen for our wedding and had the most MAGICAL experience.
The accommodations were perfect in every way and the hospitality from the owner made us feel right at home.
We rented the tandem bicycle on-site and had so much fun exploring the island (and riding it on our wedding day.)
The steamer there saved the day (after ours broke), the speaker system was awesome for the jazz radio we played the entire time and the overall beautiful design + functionally of the space worked perfectly for us.
Location was perfect...the coming-and-going of the bicycle rental in the backyard made for a lovely balance of gentle liviness and peaceful quietness.
We wouldn't change a thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The house it’s just amazing, it’s so beautiful it looks like a house from a fairy tale, we got the King room and it was brilliant extremely clean and huge size. It’s really close from Aerø town center just a 10 minute bus ride and sorrounded by lots of nature. And Katrine is the best host ever, she even was a witness in our wedding day. Totally countryside, super cosy rooms, big building, big kitchen for free use (we've been baking Lasagne at 10 pm :-) marvelous surrounding garden park. Great terrace with tables and seats and great view.

Breakfast included - Fresh baked bread and nut cake with selfmade jam for breakfast, eggs from the local chicken beside the house. A coffee machine serves free coffee and hot chocolate around the clock.
Coffe lovers beware: It's danish coffee hehehe. If you expect coffee as of home in Denmark, bring some sachets with instant coffee and just use the hot water ;-)

Very charming old house, which has been turned into a very comfortable and cozy place for relaxing vacations. The area is wonderful in amazing nature and you'll have everything you need for relaxing days. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. The shared bathrooms are very clean and spacious.
Very pleasant and quiet room. A little dated, but still comfortable and clean. A very good breakfast. Very helpful staff who found somewhere for us to store our bikes securely. It was possible to borrow a kettle to make hot drinks in the room.
It is in the city center. so you can reach almost anywhere within the city by walking. Cars can also be parked nearby, e.g. in the city hall, which is only 3-4 min walk away.
The property is a kind of rural house. There are some rooms with shared bathroom and toilet, but we choose the luxury apartment with bedrooms on different levels, private bathroom and toilet, with beautiful interiors and views from the windows
A guesthouse full of charm and personality. Located right in the middle of town, but in a quiet yard behind the street. Very comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. Great host providing excellent service, honesty bar, coffee facilities including fresh milk.

The accommodation is quiet and conveniently located with stunning views and lots of sunshine on the deck.
Adam is a kind and helpful host, and has wonderful tips on places to visit around the island.
I would definitely stay here again. The suite is ideal for 4-5 people with its private bathroom and lounge area.
