The host was very nice and accommodating and they served a very good breakfast. The idea of staying in a castle was intriguing and it was very nice once we reached the tower room where we stayed.

We picked Burg Hermannstein for the experience of staying in a castle and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a unique stay, this is a great choice. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the drinks and fruit left for us in the room. We were warned to expect the castle to be cold but our room was a nice temperature.

For the second time in October we stayed here. My first review was not a fluke, this place is wonderful !

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very clean, close but not in the city centre so quiet. Good breakfast in the morning - fresh items being brought out continuously. Nice little courtyard available for an evening drink. Was able to park my bicycle in a side room (unused breakfast room with tables and chairs!) along with many others in the hotel. Fridge with a range of drinks available for purchase in the entrance hall.
