Our first floor room had additional facilities (balcony, fridge) and was large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and there was a wide range of interesting buffet items, individually portioned in reusable glass containers in a refrigerated display. A model of sustainability. All the staff were very helpful. Free guest parking outside the hotel. The hotel garden was pretty. The railway station was very close and we had an included Echt Bodensee card which gave us free rail travel in the area.

Rooms are big new and superclean as well as the bathroom. Bed is very comfortable with nice mattress. A very nice touch the complimentary water bottle, coffee/tea maker and snnacks in the room. Really lovely Guest house with wonderful hosts. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but nice with fresh food. Loved the owner's dogs who were friendly and well mannered. Place was very easy to find and well signposted. We will happily stay here again on our next trip. Thank you!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything! We were warmly welcomed by the owner Rose and felt at home immediately. The apartment is beautifully designed, with high quality furnishings and appliances. Our apartment was at the back and had a beautiful view of orchards and vineyards. Bed was very comfortable. The location is a small business park, so very quiet in the evening and night time, and a 15-20 minute walk to the lakeside village of Wasserburg. There’s the added bonus of cycle and walking paths right from your doorstep.
Our hosts provided an excellent vegan breakfast, and were able to meet our request for an earlier start than usual on the day of our departure (we were hoping to avoid forecast poor weather). Keeping our bikes out of sight and secure was no problem for them either. The location is right on the Bodensee Radweg, near to a bus stop (the Bodsnsee Guestpass gives free public transport) and on the edge of Wasserburg, so very quiet at night.
The property is located in a quiet area, surrounded by gardens, everything has positive vibes and I recommend it if you’re looking for relaxation and some time off after a busy day.
Wasserburg is very quiet town, which is a pleasant change after visiting a number of big cities. The property is 5-10 minutes walk to most things you will need ie
Train. Cafe. Restaurant. Grocery & 15min walk to the ferry. Great place to wind down for a few days
Tranquil lakeside location with gorgeous terrace for drinks and meals. Our room was small but had a lake view and was comfortable and very clean. Good breakfast although the coffee could be better. A very special location and charming schloss atmosphere.
