The hotel is in a great location, quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but only a few minutes walk to main attractions. The staff were very friendly and showed me how to get in after hours and checked in with me each morning about my needs.
This is a 'way above average' hotel. Why? The staff is very friendly and flexible, the rooms are clean, the beds are excellent and large, and there is a private parking that's fully surveyed by camera's. On top of that: the beautiful city center of Trier is very close, and if you need basic stuff: there are 2 supermarkets, and a bakery close by. We only spent 2 days here but would come back to this hotel. Last but not least: excellent breakfast.
