This was good accommodation - clean, smart, well-located and stylish.
It is very close to local amenities such as Netto and Edeka, and is equipped to manage light, uncomplicated cooking, with its two-plate hob and microwave, along with a fridge to store ingredients - some illumination over the work surfaces in the kitchenette would have been good though.
The dining space was good and the chairs comfortable. Crockery was good.
It would have been good to have some more relaxed seating, the 2 bean-bags were comfy, but not so easy for older people to get out of.
The bed we used was a bit too soft for us, but we slept well enough - a second pillow would have been appreciated, but we managed.
The bathroom was good in all respects, but again a little more lighting wouldn't have been a bad thing - especially over the wash hand basin.
To return to location, it was perfect for arrival from the Trelleborg ferry and it was really nice to be able cross the Warnow to Rostock on the wee passenger ferry - a perfect beginning and end to a walking-tour of the city - it's also worth saying that Hansestadt Rostock is a destination worthy of much more time than we had available on this occasion, so if if you have it, spend some time here.
Last but not least, I forgot an item when we left and very much appreciate the help of the host in getting it back to me in Scotland.

I booked the place to catch the ferry from Germany to Sweden. Good location close to the big outlet (walking like 40 mins) and to the city center (driving like 25 mins). Comfortable bed and clean shower. Private parking - I didn't have problems to park infant of my room.

Very nice budget hotel, centrally located in Rostock just outside the city center. The Tram with a stop right outside the door will take you to the city center in 5 minutes. Good rooms, very comfortable beds, adequate bathrooms, very good breakfast, friendly staff and a bar at the reception. Private parking behind the hotel and all at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more 😃

A very good central location, clean and quiet. We had a room with a bathroom for 2 people and a separate apartment with a kitchen for 3 people. Comfortable and spacious enough. Car park just round the corner. City centre within easy reach, 10-15 minutes on foot.
Great location in the city center. The hotel was refurbished not a long time ago, so the rooms are clean and stylish. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I was upgraded to a room with harbour view and enjoyed amazing sunsets. It can get a bit noisy outside with trams and cars and, occasionally, loud people, but if you close the windows and turn on the air conditioner, it very quiet.
Great location: 3 minutes from the city centre, 15 min from the central station, 2 supermarkets nearby, and a nice Vietnamese restaurant on the first floor.

Loved the spacious characterful old bedroom with stripped pine floor and balcony , the large well equipped bathroom and the great location 10 mins' walk from the DB station one way and 10 mins from shopping centre and Altstadt in the other direction.
