Well furnitured, with garden and river views (way to the Rhine cut by railway and B42, anyhow windows well insulated against the noise), we had a good sleep.
We got a spectacular upgrade to suite because our originally booked king size smaller standard double was in need of a minor bathroom repair.
Breakfast was extraordinary abundant and delicious (served at table, no buffet), great coffee.
Restaurants, welcoming wineries (Strausswirtschaften) within walking distance.
Staff always kind, serviceable and helpful.

The location was excellent. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The room had an old world charm about it as did the breakfast room. The breakfast was generous and tasty. The view of the river and castle was excellent. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer.

When we arrived we were having trouble finding the right spot to check in. As we were walking up the street with out bicycles a young woman came out and asked if we were the guests. She helped with storing the bicycles and bringing our luggage up the considerable stairs. She gave us a choice of 2 different rooms and we chose the one with a view of a castle. She showed us a small private garden with a lot of plants we could sit in that was very nice. We were both very happy with how comfortable the beds were and it had a very nice bathroom. In the morning we had bicycled about a mile down the road when they called to say we left a credit card in the bed. They had it waiting when I biked back.
