The reviews I read before my trip said mostly that the breakfast was "ok", but that's not true. It's actually wonderful. So many things to choose from: all kinds of fresh buns, toast, lunch meat, cheese, eggs, cereals, juice, jam, honey, yoghurt, cake...(and coffee and tea, obviously). The breakfast room may be tiny, but it's packed full of delicious things.
Every single member of staff I met during my weekend stay was friendly and helpful - very nice people.
The single room I'd booked (#19, with toilet and shower) is small, but well cut and cozy, with a window in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. It has a built-in cabinet I stored my trolley bag in, a firm mattress and lights at both the bed & the small table, so you don't need to turn on the bright main light of the room. The tv can be turned to watch from bed.
I'd brought my own shower towel, but there was one big and one small towel at the bathroom. The place offers its guests some excellent olive soap and shower gel, so in the end I only used my own shampoo.
I know this depends a lot on the other guests staying at the hotel, but I found the room overall quiet - no loud tv or voices disturbing me in the evening or at night. (Only when you open the windows, you hear the cars on the Fritz-Behrens-Allee from this room, as it's to the front.)
There is a bus stop (Friedenstraße) only a few steps away from the hotel. I was planning on walking the 20 or so minutes from the train station, but it was far more comfortable to take the bus directly from there - it's only a few stops.
Once there Zoo and Congress Center are also not far on foot, but the bus takes you there in a fraction of the time.
Directly opposite the hotel is a park which you may want to go to for an evening stroll - just watch out for cyclists, they're everywhere, and they're not slow.
If you cut through this park there is an Edeka only a few walking minutes away on Bödekerstrasse.

Cosy, boutique style hotel. Surprisingly quiet and private even though 5 minutes from centre. Nice, functional yet comfortable rooms, comfy bed. Staff super kind and accommodating, the day I checked out I had to take an online meeting and they let me use the breakfast room, for 3 hours. They saved me a lot of stress and the hassle of searching for a quiet place to work. Recommend this hotel for any kind of stay.
Host very responsive and welcoming. Flat spotlessly clean, modern kitchen equipment including the coffee machine. Comfortable mattresses and pillows (an important consideration for me as I have a neck problem). Relatively spacious balcony looking over a private garden is a welcome bonus. Area is quiet and multiple tram lines run 100 m walk from the flat. A cheap supermarket and a few kebab places are within a 300 meter radius.
Great location near city centre, nice room and bathroom. The staff was friendly. Room was quiet, good bed, comfortable to sleep all together. Wlan was great and fast.
Great location on a quiet street just a block from the train station with easy access to trams/bus service and lots of shopping on the streets adjacent to the hotel. The room was very nice, quiet, clean & comfortable and the shower was exquisite! The bathroom radio was also a very nice touch. There was lots of closet space to hang my clothes and store my luggage. Excellent breakfast and room service. I would definitely stay here again and consider another stop-over in Hannover now that I know about the convenience of this hotel.
