Very friendly welcome from the personal. Excellent breakfast. We could leave the car parked in the pension while we were hiking towards the bridge. Otherwise we would have had to parked in the payment parkings in the village…there’s no parking possibilities in the streets, all forbidden.

My son-in-law and I were walking the Mosel-Camino and it was an ideal stopping place. We were welcomed very cheerfully and had a very good meal with white wine. We were tired so it was good to be able to eat in. We had a very good breakfast next day. Very important when on a walking trip. I think the husband was busy with the grape harvest but we had a good chat with the wife. Very relaxed and comfortable and really lovely part of the Moselle.

Both arrived on individual motorcycles, booked for 5 nights, ample space to park. Shown to room, by very friendly owners. Breakfast was plentiful although not until 8.30am each day,
no facilities for a tea or coffee beforehand unfortunately. They had a honesty fridge for cool drinks with an outside terrace to sit and relax too.

Love love love! This apartment has been exceptionally renovated with beautiful high-end furnishings. The host has considered every creature comfort for guests. Ernst is a picturesque and quiet village only 5km from Cochem. Perfect in every way for exploring the Mosel Valley. Do yourself a favour, stay here!!
