It was very clean and comfortable. One could stay there even without any help from the employees - except for breakfast- also had a small wellness place. Especially bathroom was clean and tidy. They have thought about every detail.
Employees are very friendly and helpful, safe to say very competent.

Much closer to the train station then expected! Staff was so helpful to upgrade our room, provide an earlier check-in than expected, AND store our baggage. The restaurant was delicious and very agreeably priced. Stayed with my brother and sister for the Taylor Swift concert at Veltins arena- perfect 30 minutes to venue.
Unterkunft Mara is located in Oberhausen, just a 15-minute walk from Theatre Oberhausen and 4.7 miles from Dubois Arena.

I loved that the beds were comfortable and cheap prices. I stayed there for the Eras Tour and price were nothing compared to rest of the cities. The place is perfect if you want to travel to oberhausen and nearby cities for big events.

Very kind and very helpful personnel. Also, very clean. Perfect position for exploring the Ruhr area since it is close to the train station and yet in a quiet part of the city centre. Rooms are basic.
This is a lovely apartment, perfect for a 4-people family (2 rooms, one of them with 2 single beds). Big rooms, very well fitted (totally complete kitchen and very good shower, we tried to find one thing that was missing or not perfect and we couldn't), extremely clean, and very quiet at night. 10 min by foot from the train station, the city centre and the inner harbour. The owner is super friendly, lives close and made everything just perfect. We also loved Duisburg and had a wonderful time there.

The location is great, in a quiet street, and walking distance to the city centre, where you can find lots of caffees and restaurants. Aldi across the street if you need it. Free parking is available in front of the building.
