One of the most beautiful, refined and welcoming places we’ve stayed at. The Japanese garden is gorgeous, I could stay there forever. The rooms are unique and decorated with a profesional designer, all the objects inside are of high quality, from ceramics to the bed linen, to the bathroom facilities. The staff was kind and offered us a room more suitable for my aging and partially disabled father-in-law. The cakes they serve there are amazing, as it is all the permaculture garden and little farm with lamas and chicken. We’ll definitely come back again!

it was beautiful - it was raining when i went which was lovely, the balcony view over looks trees so the ambiance was incredibly. the bed was soft and the shower was spacious so i could sit down in it and rest after lots of walking. it was perfect - i could live here! the english staff was very lovely and interesting to chat to :)

A good place for one night, easy to find and everything was clean. Nice room with a balcony (shared with another bedroom) and a fully equipped kitchen. Private parking in the front yard. You have to call the owner when you arrive to get the keys - he didn't speak English but everything worked out after he asked his daughter to call us and give the instructions.

The rooms were lovely and bright with big windows, sufficient copboard space, a desk and chair, and a great sleek bathroom. Wood effect floors give a nice fresh and clean feel. A free bottle of water was provided.
Very clean and nice appartment, kind host! Bernau is not the most interesting place on earth, but the flat is truely a nice and a quiet place to relax.
