We loved the convenient location to all the trails. It was a beautiful home with plenty of space for a family of four. The kids enjoyed the loft beds, and the parents enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river. There were lots of outlets available, and there was a fan in the room, along with a mini fridge and all the basics in their kitchenette. We were impressed that the hosts left us a welcome treat and cold water bottles! The hosts were quick to communicate, checking in was easy, and there was parking available. The home was also near several delicious restaurants, which made for relaxing evenings.

The location is only about 1 km from Schmilka on the "Malerweg". The rates are better in the "Tschechische Rpublic" than in Schmilka, Germany. The owner gave us the code well ahead of time and kept it, so that we did not have to rely on our cell phone. There was a store and restaurant next door. Great view across the Elbe-River.

Very nice place to stay. Superb location - quiet place with a huge green garden to enjoy summer evening outside. You can also borrow grill equipment and make your own BBQ. We had a bright room, clean, comfortable mattress to sleep on. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast, there we many options to choose from: eggs, sausages, cheese and ham, pancakes, vegetables and many more. Closed parking on-site which is super convenient if you are arriving by car. The staff was also helpful and advised us on nearby attractions to visit.
