On arrival it was a very tranquil oasis. But even before arrival, communication related to airport pickup was clear and helpful. The room was perfect, and everyone was kind and helpful. Particularly Carla, the manager.
I had an unfortunate reaction (allergic) to something I ate, and the kindness, assistance and concern expressed by all staff was far beyond our expectations.
We would happily return to this lovely small hotel. It felt like home.

Excellent location that is easily walkable to all the tourist sites to see, fantastically communicative host (she even helped other travelers not staying with her because she’s very embedded in the community so people ask her for help, with things like booking new ferry tickets when they are canceled and such). I loved the stay here - huge room, very clean, fan and nice view of the water. This is the best place to stay for budget travelers in Praia :)

Beautiful clean room in a very convenient location. Great value for the price. The man at reception was very helpful Andy friendly and drove us to the airport at 2:30 am.
