Danilo at reception was exceptional in always answering any question I had before arrival. Superb. This is a modern property with sea view, a nice terrace, and good restaurant for breakfast. friendly owners, whom I met at breakfast. The hotel is run by two wonderful hosts who will give you plenty of useful advice for the hikes. They are extremely kind, friendly, and hospitable, representing the character of Cabo Verde. The breakfast is wonderful, with a large amount and nice variety, full of proteins to start the day for your hikes. The room and bathroom are extremely clean, and a fridge is included inside. It is the perfect stay to use as a base for hiking, and has a great location.

We felt right away very welcome in Kasa Tambla. Guillaume and Pauleth run a smooth operation and assisted where they could. He had the top floor room, a room with a private terrace and a most incredible view over the harbour and ocean. An oasis of beauty. And an incredible staff. We will be back!
Very friendly staff (the owner speaks excellent US-English). I had the room with the external bathroom (but it is still private). Good warm shower and breakfast to start the day. They can organize to pick you up (and bring you back) from the ferry with a public aluguer (by the friendly Philip) or any transport to anywhere else. Also to mention the small local restaurant across the street which serves good cheap food.
Fantastic hotel in a great location in Ponta do Sol. The rooms are quiet and modern and the room I stayed in had an excellent view. Breakfast was exceptional and they even prepared a breakfast for you and delivered to your room early if you needed to leave for the early ferry. They owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. If hiking is your goal (the main activity in Ponta do Sol), they have developed excellent hiking guides and materials and can also arrange guided hikes if you are interested.
