They are renovating the place, but the photos are still old. The stay was therefor much better than expected. Nice to have a pool, it can get really hot and humied on the island. Everything is close, but far enough to be out of the noise.

Everything was amazing! One of the best experiences I’ve had. I did both the channels tour with Bernardo and the night time turtle tour with Sergio. Both were just fantastic. Breakfast, and restaurant was good.
If you want somewhere authentic, in the local village with great hosts Gloria and Sergio, do not hesitate to book here. Very clean, quiet, ideally situated. We did the night walk/boat with Gloria and Sergio which was amazing, definitely worth doing. If you need a taxi boat or want to do a tour of the canals, go through Owen, their friend. The traditional breakfast was delicious.

Great quiet location, short walk from the beach and town center. Very charming garden with lots of iguanas and lizards. Pool is good, but wasn't cleaned from leaves/bugs. Food at the Mexican restaurant atop of the hotel is great but a bit pricey. The Caribbean food next door really great as well. Very helpful owner with time to give tips and arrange stuff.
This is a hostel and we had private room with ensuite. It's basic, as expected. You can use a well equipped kitchen, great if you are on a budget. It's right in Tortuguero close to many restaurants and mini market. There's a garden to relax in and a veranda with hammock. Very quiet at night. You can book tours which were great, we did canals in canoe, day walk and night walk (highlight). You can do self guided walk too either in the park or just along a path from the village to the airstrip.
