The grounds of the lodge are fabulous. There is plenty to explore, with an orchid garden and the Ceiba Tree overlooking the property. The breakfast was really nicely done, with a fabulous set-up of the flowers hanging down from the roof of the place. Also overlooking the Lake Arenal, and a feeding station for birds. Fresh coffee brewed the original way at the table. We also got our laundry done by the hosts, which was really handy, great value and done with more care than dedicated businesses for it. We paid extra for the room with a terrace, and it was worth that for the view and sitting out.

This place is amazing . I originally booked due to the location , right on the banks of lake Arenal . It was ideal for me with good fishing and Kayaks to use just at the bottom of the garden .
The accommodation was perfect , one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in , nice warm , powerful shower and all the facilities you need . The apartment was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious.
The owners were really nice , genuine, friendly people . They were happy to go out of their way to make sure you had a good time and a great stay .
Highly recommend, one of the best places I have ever stayed .

The location had a beautiful view and we could walk into the quaint little nearby town for some food.
The owner was super friendly and eager to help.
Breakfast was good and served directly to your room.
Very large rooms fully equipped. The terrace overhanging the cabins were nice and the mountain view was very peaceful. In general, the cabins had a comfortable feel but aspects of the room needed some attention.

What best defines this place is the amazing atmosphere created by the hosts. It’s something truly special, unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere.
It genuinely feels like a home you become part of during your stay.
There’s also the opportunity to see beautiful birds up close from the house’s terraces.
The hosts were incredibly helpful in planning our days and recommending activities.

It’s a farm, you stay in a separate house that is very spacious. It has 1 large bathroom, bedroom with double bed and baby bed and a spacious kitchen with a coach and 2 double bed.
We did not cook but eated at the farm for two diners and two breakfasts. We have also taken a farm tour with two and it all costed around 280 dollars.
It felt liked we where home at Costa Rica with Allen, the owner.

Sergio is the best host ever! He is so passionate about his place and super welcoming and helpful! Beautiful sunset! Impressive Ceiba Tree!! Countless Birds and Howler Monkeys!! Close to the lake. Great Location and Bteakfast was good too! We would 100% stay again!! We had one of the Superior Rooms and it was well worth it. We loved the private peaceful setting the lodge provided. The owners were exceptionally gracious and full of knowledge. The breakfast was 10/10 as well.
We stayed only for 1 night but enjoyed a lot. Very friendly and helpful host, nice location, quiet and with great view on a Arenal lake.

Sergio and his family were charming hosts! The lodge is secluded and peaceful in the rainforest above the lake with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Ceiba Tree itself is spectacular. Breakfast was delicious every day, premium coffee and fresh, home-cooked food. We also reserved a three course dinner with wine one night and it was absolutely delicious. Room was cute and comfortable and there was a wonderful covered patio. Can't say enough about how lovely our stay was. We definitely plan to return in the future.
Great location, but is better to rent a car to get there. Was not a problem for us, beacause we have a car. Parking available and free. Amazing view to the lake. Great garden in front of our terrace. Cleanleness. Good breakfast with an amazing tea made with plants harvested from garden. Gorgeous view from the breakfast terrace. We received an upgrade for the room, which it was great, so we were very pleased for that. Great staff. Definetely I recommend this place to everyone hwo want to enjoy the nature and feel the real vibe of Costa Rica
This was absolutely our favorite place to stay in Costa Rica. It is quiet, beautifully maintained, and the rooms sit right at the foot of a magnificent, 600 year-old Ceiba tree. We saw more exotic birds sitting on the porch here than in any of our hikes through the national forests. Best of all was the care, attentiveness and good humor of the hosts. Everything about this place is prepared and maintained with exquisite care and attention. I could not recommend it more highly.
