This small resort with only 6 wodden houses was probably the best accommodation during our 3 weeks in CR. It is because, the houses and the entire place is well designed, maintained and super clean….but, most importantly the host - Christian is the a concierge, entertainer, adviser and his friendly welcome and warm laughers let you feel like home, in an relaxed atmosphere (which can’t be created in hotel chains). His (& the teams) passion to serve the guests are outstanding.
Besides that: excellent & rich breakfast, just a few minutes to the beach and best placed to visit NP Cahuita & Manzanillo. Christian provided good restaurant recommendations for dinner too. The room has a fridge - already welcoming guest with water / juice. To conclude. No worries, this is the place to go!!

Large, clean rooms with plenty of space for a family of five. They were pet friendly which was great. We had a large balcony overlooking the jungle and saw loads of animals every day including a sloth and a large family of spider monkeys that arrived every afternoon around 4. Walking distance to restaurants and a few minutes drive to different beaches.

Great location on the beach . Out of the main centre but still with restaurants and bars nearby.Lovely outdoor area to relax and welcoming host.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The location, it's quiet there, jungle and beach together, monkeys and all sorg of animals... an awsome place, really.
And breakfast us a dream, all hand hade and organic... really really good.

The shared kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking and meal prep. Liked the private grounds, trees and bushes that attracted birds. We enjoyed sitting on the large covered porch.
The domes were one of the most special places we stayed in our 3 week trip around Costa Rica. It was lovely to be in nature and this was such a nice setting. There were monkeys overhead and even a green macaws nest too. Really beautiful. Andrea was a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful. Plus, a great breakfast with the best coffee we had all trip! It is around a 40 minute walk into Manzanillo and the beach is pretty quiet - nearly private right by the domes.

Great location - virtually on the beach (we could hear waves when going to sleep), easily reached with bus. Friendly hosts and on-site restaurant/bar (not many of those in small Manzanillo). Clean and cozy rooms. Very good value for the price. Manzanillo itself is super nice, quiet and with one of the best beaches in Costa Rica, while Gandoca Reserve offers great animal watching opportunities (free of charge). Well connected with other interesting places in the area (e.g. Cahuita, Sloth Sanctuary).
