Perfect Location to spend the first night in CR after a long flight if you plan to visit Puerto Viejo the next day. Excellent breakfast. Klaus, the owner of the property, was very kind.
Room is spacious, with a huge shower. Private parking in front of the room. Breakfast included, and was good.

Great location with amenities around and easy to get to Tortuguero. Step-free access all over the hotel and grounds to move around with prams. Great facilities, very family friendly.
Great location and beautiful property on our way to Tortuguero! Herbie was such a great host. Traveled with four boys who loved it. Loved the location, the cabins, the breakfast, the animals (which Herbie made sure to let us know where they were and what they sounded like) swimming in the swimming holes, the sound of nature around you at night, and a kind and generous host!
We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).
