Huge room with a balcony over looking the garden. Is it possible to have a better breakfast, tea on the balcony with toucans in the garden
The Hotel Manager is really helpful and service minded and he will help you with everything you need.
Big rooms and there is a desk to work with your laptop if you have any bird pictures.
Good internet!
The only thing, I am alone so no problem. Very big room with an open floor plan and the bathroom is not exactly private. But if you are alone it is a very big and nice room.
They arrange birding tours from the hotel and there are many birds in the area.
Highly recommended and I will be back.

The Host/Hostess were extremely friendly and although they did not speak English, we were able to communicate any needs. They let us use their kitchen microwave and sit in the dining area to chat with our friends.
Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was fruit, rice and scrambled egg with bread. Coffee was good.
The location was excellent for a walking tour of Cartago, lots of restaurants to choose from. People were friendly and helpful.
Secure parking for our car was appreciated and the locks on hotel to get in, made us feel very safe.

Jessica was knowledgeable and a great host. The facility was as the pictures described, very simple but very cute as well. We had a cloudy day so we couldn't enjoy the view as much as we wanted but it does promise as described. Breakfast was hearty. The location was walkable to the town square, restaurants etc and 10 minutes from the hot springs, 20 from the ruins.

Quiet, beautiful view, clean, excellent food, comfortable bed and sofa. The hosts were amazing, happy to chat or leave you in peace. Food was plentiful and can be modified to your preferences. You can ask for coffee, ice cream, fruits, and even freshly caught fish from their river fish pen. The whole place was very quiet and excellent for bird watching. Bookshelves full of books including animal guidebooks and lots of shared space to lounge in, read and chat. WiFi was strong in both the public area and the room. We did horse back riding in the rain and it was so tranquil. The chickens surprisingly don’t make much sound at dawn. The cows live about twenty minutes walk uphill.

The staff are really lovely - so friendly and helpful. The big bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. It is close to walk to all the museums and central San Jose plus the barrio escalante where there are nice bars and restaurants. You get a personal service as opposed to a more corporate or bigger business.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Super happy with Dreams Lodge, Jessica is a sweetheart, the place was clean, quiet, in a beautiful little town. Great price and amazing homemade breakfast!
Highly recommended!
Nice cozy apartment. Martin offered us dinner from their BBQ which his family had even this was not included in the price. Communication was great. Great location if you would like to visit Cartago or volcan Poas.
The room was spacious and the view of Orosi was nice . The property is a bit quirky with lots of levels and many interesting outdoor spaces to use . For the most part it was quiet .
The location was good and within easy walking distance of the small town of Orosi and it's amenities. The host was very sweet and tries very hard but the property did have a few issues.
Wow! This Casa is like a fairy tale house ! Beautiful , cozy, and comfortable, very quiet .Berna is an excellent host..she speaks a little English... much much better than I speak Spanish .. great place to stay for a night or a few days. Her casa is far enough away from the city center to have the feeling you're in the countryside but close enough to get there quickly by taxi .
We booked a double room with private bathroom.
We liked the room, and we think it was quite comfortable and quiet.
Also it had TV and a terrace.
Private parking and good Wifi signal were also a plus.
Well equipped shared kitchen. Secured parking in the garage. Very friendly host. Comfy bed. Nice outdoor patio. Good location near the city centre. Very quiet.
