Lovely spacious room, gorgeous gardens, decent pool. Great to see the resident sloth in the garden - what a treat.
Some reviews said room #9 was very noisy above the kitchen. We stayed in room 9 and although above the kitchen the noise was not an issue. Yes, could hear things at times but not early morning or late at night so sleep not disturbed.

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. The location is perfect, I thought it might be a bit far from the town center but actually it is nicer to stay close to Playa Negra. Playa Negra is beautiful and it has several restaurants for dinner in the evening. We walked to Cahuita to visit the national park and make groceries (20 minute walk to town).
Superior family cottage has 3 separate rooms. The room with the bunk-bed is interconnected with one of the double bed rooms. Each double bed room has its own bathroom (2 bathrooms in total). There is an outdoor kitchen with large dining table and several couches. So lots of living space !
We saw lots of animals from the garden around the bungalow.

Brigitte is amazing, her ranch is full of animals including a sloth. we also had a beautiful horse ride and a demonstration of chocolate production (chocholate tour) the house with two rooms and a hot tub was amazing and in the middle of Costa Rican nature.

House is perfectly clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The air conditioning, wifi and washing machine worked perfectly. Great location in a quiet and safe place with beautiful views of the garden and banana plantation.

Absolutely stunning house in a quiet natural location. We loved the outdoor living and private pool, this house is surrounded by nature, we really enjoyed seeing and hearing the wildlife.
Friendly staff. great location, very close to the National Park, but also just out of main town so it was quiet. plentiful breakfast. Loads of wildlife in the gardens around the hotel - saw monkeys everyday (Howlers and Capuchins) and lots more. The pool is a great place to chill out and enjoy the gardens. The track to the hotel is well lit and perfectly safe. Rooms are good size and showers have plenty of hot water. Rooms had both air-con and fans so easy to regulate temperature.
