It was a very peaceful and quiet place away from noisy Tamarindo! A blessing for the soul. The French couple that runs the place is just the best! Helpful, flexible, friendly and always trying their best to make your stay as good as possible. They give us so many helpful advice on where to go for good food and what nice spots to see. Easy people that was very communicative and nice to be around. The pool was super nice and the garden very neat and clean. We highly recommended the place for anyone away from home, because here you feel at home!!

Everything from the start till the end was just perfect.
The place is managed by a family from France.
The pool is beautiful and clean.
The room is big , beds are very comfortable, the AC is great and conveniently positioned in the room.
The breakfast is very tasty, the French crepes are especially good!
The location is great, very close to Tamarindo (11 minutes) but away from the crowds.
Just perfect, everything.
And we could have a late checkout, till 12pm.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We loved the pool and the location. Yes, close to the road, but for us not as issue. Most important: it’s close to the two beaches! Only a 20min walk to beautiful playa Conchal. Breakfast was very good, room very big and quiet. Restaurant served good food. Lovely place!

The host was friendly and attentive, the residence community has supermarket at the entrance and conchal beach is a few minutes away.
The unit was large and spacious. Very clean, comfortable, had laundry, a dishwasher and a large kitchen. The common spaces were well maintained and lovely. The pool is shared by only 8 units, so it was quiet. The location was great with a car, Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal were all seemingly less than a 10 minute drive. The grocery store and food in Flamingo were great. We liked the local side of Brasilito best. We could back our car up to the edge of the beach, pitch a hammock and jump in the wild waves.

got a collectivo to posh Flamingo for an ATM and walked back all the way to puerto viejo at the end on Conchal Bay. Beautiful beach. great quiet town. if you want an experience watch the sun setting and the locals dancing at Indiras. One of the great boozers.
It’s clean, comfortable and has the best owners and staff in Brasilito. The transformation of this property is stunning. It’s a quiet little gem just off the main road. It’s comfortable and quirky. The owners and the hostess bring this place to life. I travel extensively and it’s very seldom you get such personalized service. We loved our stay because we were given such personalized treatment. If I ever return to Brasilto, I’ll return to Quinta Esencia.

The staff were super attentive and enhanced our stay. Donald in particular couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was the best. Also was delighted to show us monkeys in the trees across from the restaurant area!

We loved the convenient location, and everyone there could not have been nicer. Breakfast was delicious, and we so appreciate that they went out of their way to also make a breakfast for our 8 month old. The room was clean and quiet too! The hotel provided a tent and wagon for us to take what we needed down to the beach, and we had an absolute blast.
I loved the quaintness, very charming, peaceful, lots of iquanas to see. Delicious breakfast with 3 options. Rooms are spotless and they clean every day. Jennifer the receptionist is so helpful and will arrange transportation to your next destination. Location is great as you can walk to Playa Conchal and Playa Brasilito but be careful walking on side of highway.
