The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The location in the town is good. Within 5 minutes you are on the plaza. The room was spacious. The bathroom was a little bit small, but perfectly fine. And everything was very clean. Breakfast was good and you could have it whenever you wanted. I really recommend this place! Note, the host doesn't speak English, but everything worked out fine with the help of Google Translate.

Got a private room for the cheapest fare and was allowed to check-in very early (9 a.m.) and check-out very late (3 p.m.). Food reasonably priced (breakfast 10k, lunch & dinner 20k, water 4k). Room was clean and with running water 24/7. Transport back to town for 20k.
The owner is so friendly and nice and she was a HUGE help for me! She organized a private tour/driver to the desert for me, Augusto was great! She also organized a private person who was willing to drive me to Neiva after 10pm because I took a nightbus to Cali and the last bus from the village leaves around 6pm. She made me a delicous breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable one I slept in since weeks! Don‘t miss out in this great host and hostel :)))) Muchas Gracias para todo!
Super friendly staff, they were really welcoming and booked us a private tuk tuk for a tour of the desert. Breakfast was basic but delicious - scrambled eggs with tomato and onion was lovely! Nice terraced area, comfy beds and good aircon. Great location for restaurants in the town/access to the desert. Also super quiet!

This is a perfect one-stop-shop property if you want to explore the Tatacoa. They offer not only standard desert tours, but also custom private trips with a motorbike. I really liked it and stayed longer than I originally planned.
Swimming pool was good and breakfasts were tasty. It was generally quiet during the day and at night. I also liked the rooftop terrace which was excellent for my evening yoga sessions.
The owners are so nice - we felt like being part of the family after 2 days :)

Great location between the two deserts and only 5min from the observatory.
We expected it to be hotter there, but the fan was enough for the night. The beds also had mosquito nets. And two parrots are living there
Great Hostal - especially for the price. The full day tour to Tatacoa was exceptional and good value for money at $90k pesos. They gave me the option of splitting the tour over 2 days which was great. morning tour is 8am - 12pm and afternoon is 4pm to 9pm. Although the hostel is quiet I managed to make friends as a solo traveller. Highly recommend!
