The room has a separate bathroom for the guests and everything that you need. It is very clean as well. The host family is incredibly helpful and very nice. They helped us when we had questions and they really care about the wellbeing of their guests. You can buy home-cooked meals from the host family as well (very delicious and made by the host). We really enjoyed our stay because of the familiar and comfortable atmosphere. We felt very welcomed and appreciated and can only recommend this accommodation!

We stayed there for 10 nights. Mr. Johan's personal and friendly attitude throughout the entire time we stayed was excellent. Johan took care of us, explained to us about the place and gave recommendations for trips in the area, good and cheap restaurants and beaches that made our vacation in the village pleasant and successful. The location is excellent, clean and spacious rooms with air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. There is also a good and cheap laundry service. Highly recommended!

Comfortable beds, good AC though the owner will ask you to not use it too much during the day even though I barely used it at night. Good breakfast but not included in the price and only till 9 am though she did twice give it to me at 10 when I asked. She called me a taxi when I left. Really quiet area but if you have the room downstairs with the window to the inner courtyard you'll be woken up by the owner and cleaner and other guests so I'd recommend trying to get the room upstairs as that was really quiet and private.
This was the perfect place for our stay in Taganga. Casa Tara is about 10min walk from the main beach area where all the bars and restaurants are, which makes it a quiet stay. The room was very cosy and spacious. Andres is such a great host, made us feel right at home and helped us with any questions we had. We would definitely go back anytime!
It's a bit out of the way but that's what makes it so charming.
Very nice lounge area with chairs and hammocks. There were fans in the room. The rooms are less of a dorm and more of a private room. It was very quiet when I was here.
Great location, appreciated that the room had its own private bathroom and AC. The pool was a welcome relief on hot afternoons. The hot breakfasts were great! Really lovely shaded outdoor area to work from with usually a decent breeze flowing through. Late check-out (1pm) as a bonus.
best vibe and place in Taganga! super quiet and amazing atmosphere! Richie, his mother and the whole team created such an awesome place to relax by the pool, connect with other travelers or just enjoy ones private space! we can really recommend it - there is dorm, rooms with fan or AC - for everyone something!

Although most of the time there was not someone from the hostel, we could always text them with questions and they lived next door and worked in the shop next door. Ask for the tip where you can get a cheap menu del dia! there is a great place a couple of blocks away
This was a great hostel, we loved it! The employees are very nice, it is well situated, the price is very good. There are double rooms with private bathroom for only 8€. But if you are looking for a bit more comfort, I would recommend the rooms which are a bit more expensive (but still quite cheap). There is a sweet and cute ginger kitten who walks around in the hallway. The beach (5') is so beautiful and fun, with a lot of bars and restaurants and amazing sunsets! A lot of diving possibilities nearby.
