The Palafito is very cosy and welcoming, the decor is very interesting, and there are lots of books on Chiloe.
The Palafito is well-located within walking distance of cafés, restaurants, and the artisanal market and Iglesia. The water view from the lounge room is lovely, you can spot lots of different waterbirds from the deck. There is parking on the street out front but during the day the street is busy with cars and mussell trucks so park as close to the kerb as you can and folks your mirrors in. It was quiet at night and the beds very comfortable.
Our host, Glenny, was an absolute delight. She made our stay very memorable.
