My wife and I just finished our trip to Europe where we stayed at 10 different bed and breakfast lodgings, and the Matterhorn Ried Suite was our favorite! Claudio was a superb host, and was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us from the train station to the Matterhorn Restaurant. When he showed us the suite, we were amazed, very happily surprised – – it has a separate bedroom, kitchen, plus a living room with kitchen table and a woodburning stove, which felt very pleasant on the cool fall evenings. Breakfast was in the refrigerator and on the counter, with a good selection of fruit, meat, cheese, and bread—plus juices, milk and yogurt, and we had the flexibility to eat whenever it fit our schedule. The first night we stayed, we have dinner and Claudio‘s restaurant, and it was delicious. The view of the Matterhorn was incredible – – we were very impressed. We would definitely stay at the Matterhorn Ried Suite again.

The breakfast was fine with lots of different things to choose from. The owner was always present and ready to serve and help in any way. She was also attentive and asking if I was on a special diet since I brought my own cereals and yoghurt.
The location was very good, centered but not crowding, close to restaurants and other facilities. It's on a farm that you can visit if you like.

I must say, this is the best apartment we have experienced in Swiss. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, large space, quiet neighborhood, and well-equipped kitchen. The staff replies our questions very quickly. We had a wonderful time in this apartment.

Great location for view of the Matterhorn. Cheap for Zermatt, we stayed in a private twin room so had own bathroom and it included breakfast. Had plant based milk and butter for breakfast. Used the microwave for dinner.

Great view from a roof top, you can have a drink and rest and enjoy the panorama of Zermatt village and Matterhorn in the same time.

Location is as good as you can get in Zermatt. Ski bus outside, Sunnega a flat 5 minute walk. Staff were super friendly and gave us invaluable tips on where to ski when; It felt like we had a private resort in half term! Food was excellent, we ate dinner there twice and had an excellent breakfast every morning.
Bathroom was superbly finished. Bedroom was comfortable and clean but not quite as luxury as the bathroom.
Sandro was a great host, really friendly, helping us with tips and making sure we are having the best time in Zermatt.
Great location close to the city centre. Apartment was really cozy, well decorated, and the kitchen had everything included to make you feel like home.
