Its a castle. The hostess was very nice and helpfull. My room was very big and I had access to 2 bathrooms and a living area / kitchenette. Coffee and tea were available for free. The castle is surrounded by farms and is in a lovely location. I travelled by bike and there is a dedicated bike locker with all necessary utilities.

My second stay at this place. Absolutely clean just like last time. Owners are very helpful and just great people you want to be with. Big en-suite room with small kitchen facility. It's right next to the entrance, and owners live upstairs. So it's like very private, quiet apartment hotel. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this place! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment was even more charming than the pictures suggested, with cozy, thoughtful touches throughout. The space was immaculately clean, well-stocked with all the amenities we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Mina was also a wonderful host—super communicative, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations for things to do nearby. It was clear that they truly care about their guests’ experience, and it made all the difference.

WONDERFUL, charming, traditional Swiss hotel in Sumiswald. The staff in the hotel were all FANTASTIC! Friendly, welcoming, caring, I can't say enough about the staff! Hotel is in a cute, small town about 45 minutes from Bern, about an hour and a half from other larger areas. This is a perfect escape from busy tourist areas. Rooms are clean, cozy, and traditional Swiss. Restaurant. Is wonderful. I wish I could share more pictures!

Quiet area. Proximity of farm activity created a rather special perfume yet, the doors to the upper level of the farm house locked out this perfume significantly.
Big, comfort, shiny clean rooms with beautiful view. Cozy room with book shelf for quiet rest or to meet friends. The heart of this hotel is its manager, who brightened everything with her presence and sunny smile.
Everything was thought of. Cozy and comfortable roons. Great shower, the kitchen was fully equiped, even coffee capsules. Perfectly clean. Family Rutchi were very frienly. The farm is charming and thet make great beer!
We will be happy to come back.
A clean roomy apartment with everything you might want. A quiet location on a beautiful farm and very friendly hosts. It was the perfect way to spend our last night in Europe. So relaxing.
Friendly host, charming cottage with a lot of animals on the farm. The host family brew their own beer too!
