The Blomberg BnB was a very special experience. It is situated in the middle of the countryside, between rolling hills and green fields, with a view of the Säntis mountain on a clear day. The surrounding area is completely quiet, except the occasional ring of cowbells grazing the grass. The owners, Emmy and Viktor, are very welcoming and hospitable - we ourselves don't speak German, but we managed to communicate with them just fine with our phone's translation app. The room and the house are kept exceptionally tidy and clean, as well as the shared bathroom. The breakfast is also wonderful, A traditional regional breakfast with local ingredients and fresh eggs from the house's chickens. It was a great start for every day of sightseeing and touring the countryside!

This mountain hotel is really very special. A must-visit!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Everything was fabulous, clean comfortable, quiet location on the edge of the lake.
The hotel called us after we made the booking to advise the restaurant is closed on Mondays so we made alternate arrangements first class customer service
Very nice location near the lake, quiet surrounding, clean and spacious room with a large bed, friendly host. Also a large kitchen and cosy sitting area to your disposal.
A regular visitor to this BnB and as usual everything was perfect. The owner is a kind gentleman and is very helpful. The rooms here are warm, clean, comfortable and spacious. It is located in a quiet part of town making it an attractive place to rest and recharge.
Superb air conditioned room with a big, comfortable bed, spotless soft linen and a private terrace with a double width sun lounger looking out over the lake.
The restaurant was superb whether for an evening meal on the terrace watching the sunset, or for the generous continental breakfast buffet.
Plenty of parking and the hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of Schmerikon which offers a good range of shops as well as train and boat station.
