We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfest Chiarina. It is situated in a lovely village in a beautiful valley close to Mendrisio. The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.

The B&B has a great location right on the lake with easy access by car to amazing hiking areas. The breakfast was generous and included delicious homemade baked items as well as excellent coffee. The host, Ariane, was warm, friendly, and responsive. She and her helper lent us a new paddle board that we took on the lake.
B&B Il Vigneto is located in Melano. Free WiFi access is available. Shared bathroom also comes with a shower. At B&B Il Vigneto you will find a garden and a terrace.

A room in a very lovely house. Right next to mountain and facing to the lake. You can enjoy both lake and mountain views from your balcony. Has a parking lot in front of the house. Tenant was very friendly. Breakfast was great. She asked us what we prefer for breakfast and that was very nice of her. It is a very quite place so you get a good sleep.

The room was very well equipped, very spacious, everything is new. All rooms are completely differently decorated, but all of them have jacuzzi and a large shower that can be turned into a hammam.
Check in/out is done at the restaurant downstairs, staff are super friendly and offer you water and coffee/tea.
The location is great, right on the lake.
The room doesn’t have a kitchen, but has a teapot with a selection of teas and instant coffee. They also gave us vouchers for 10% discount for the bakery nearby.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
I was there during the Easter and they even put a box of pastries as a present in the room.

The hosts were very friendly, attentive, I felt almost like at home :) Cosy atmosphere, very quiet, breakfast in the little garden, great view from the balcony:)
The kitchen is well equiped. The bathroom is also OK. The matrace is very good: hard enough to support the back. The environment is quiet, no noice from the street. It was very good that they confirmed my reservation in few minutes even in a late hour.
Room and bathroom are very unique and modern decorated in a quiet mountain village. We had an excellent Breakfast full of locally made food. It is a pleasant stay.
Studio was really nice, very clean, also close to my office. Quiet, a perfect equipment, easy for the check in, I appreciated the wifi connexion and TV channels. I will come back of course :)
The room was modern but charming with a little private sitting area and a terrace outside. The breakfast was very good though simple… good bread and coffee. The terrace overlooked the courtyard outside the restaurant so it isn’t completely quiet… a problem if you want to go to bed early. The service from Matteo and Francesco was very attentive and helpful. All things considered, the room and breakfast was great value… only slight issue was the dinner, which is at the usual Swiss price level!
