The room was very well equipped, very spacious, everything is new. All rooms are completely differently decorated, but all of them have jacuzzi and a large shower that can be turned into a hammam.
Check in/out is done at the restaurant downstairs, staff are super friendly and offer you water and coffee/tea.
The location is great, right on the lake.
The room doesn’t have a kitchen, but has a teapot with a selection of teas and instant coffee. They also gave us vouchers for 10% discount for the bakery nearby.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
I was there during the Easter and they even put a box of pastries as a present in the room.

The B&B has a great location right on the lake with easy access by car to amazing hiking areas. The breakfast was generous and included delicious homemade baked items as well as excellent coffee. The host, Ariane, was warm, friendly, and responsive. She and her helper lent us a new paddle board that we took on the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfest Chiarina. It is situated in a lovely village in a beautiful valley close to Mendrisio. The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
My sister and I had a lovely time (5 nights) at Al Boccalino! The hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the building was extremely clean. The breakfast in the old wine cellar was an amazing start to our day!!! The location is quiet and within walking distance of Lake Lugano, the Swissminiatur open air museum, and all needed amenities such as a grocery store, bus stop, restaurants, bank, and the train station.
We enjoyed the chewy candies on the desk as we headed in or out! 😁
Very large room with balcony view of the mountains. Very friendly owners who went the extra mile to help us with parking, public transport to Lugano (so easy and quick - why stay in Lugano?). Excellent breakfast.
The apartment is right by the lake and only 10 min walk from the train station.

Nice little boutique hotel with a private parking and a terrace right on the lake. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, the bathroom big, and we had a balcony with view of the lake. Good breakfast included and amazingly efficient and very nice staff. A dream pit stop on the way (also close to the highway)!
