While I was staying there, I got sick. Doris took great care of me, bringing me tea and dinner. Thank you so much!!! I'm so grateful I found this place when I did. ❤️

The location was right next to the train / tram station, so very easy to access. I had no trouble with the noise from the station.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
The original flooring and old furniture gave the authentic feel.
There were a couple of interesting concerts in the adjoining chapel which were worth attending as well.
My room was very close to the shared bathroom which was convenient, and there was always a shower / toilet available when I needed one.
The range in the breakfast buffet wasn't huge but it had a bit of everything.
Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 401, WC in the hallway, outside the room is located in Basel, just 1.5 miles from Jewish Museum of Basel and 1.8 miles from Basel Cathedral.

Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did.
It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me.
The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.
Kiki's B&B is located in Basel, 2625 feet from the Messe Basel exhibition center. Free WiFi access is available, and the garden features a terrace and barbecue facilities.

The location was great for us as we were getting on a boat for a river cruise the next morning. The room was squeaky clean and private. Rolf and Kiki were delightful hosts

I was traveling with my mom on a full month road trip. We started our trip at Sigrid on our first night and we came back for our last night before heading back to Canada. If i could put 20 stars on this, i definitely would. Sigrid is the sweetest grandma alive ❤️
We bonded like we have known each other forever. We couldn't wait to come back to her at the end of our trip. The house is warm, so welcoming and clean, and you couldn't ask for a better host in a million years. The breakfast is personalized and amazingly good, we can't wait to get back there, we just got back home. We were with Sigrid last night before our flight this morning 😊

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
