Really liked this place! Convenient to everything in the area. The owners of the establishment were very helpful with both checkin and checkout as well as responsive! The bed was incredibly comfortable!

Mr Leandro, the host, was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Even though we did not meet in person, he made sure everything was fine. He also offered us a free breakfast on our 3 nights stay. And it was very kind of him agreeing to store our baggage after checkout for a few hours. The apartment was small but neat. There is a window door instead of windows. It would be not as ideal at night when sleeping. Other than that, everything was fine.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Como from Brienz. Very nice place. Good parking space inside the fence. Host was really nice and helpful, free snacks, soft drinks and coffee capsules available in the room.

So good!! Brand new and nice. Had everything we needed. And parking nexts to the unit :)

Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

A lovely, comfortable, and clean room in a quaint, charming town, complete with all expected amenities, including a nice hairdryer. Easily accessible by car from the main tourist cities and villages nearby. The balcony is a treat with a priceless view. The breakfast is good and the coffee - A-ma-zing! I can't emphasize enough how warmly I was welcomed in Al Grottino. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you!
