Breakfast was excellant, all you could want; our room although a little small was very comfortable with lovely view; people were very helpful and friendly; only down side was finding the place as we were from ns and did not know the area that well and it was in the evening so street names were hard to read, but we really enjoyed it after we arrived.

An exceptionally nice B&B in a very beautiful historical building. We had a room with our own balcony ("the Captain's Room"), which we can really recommend. There is also a communal sitting room and access to tea and coffee at any time of the day. Everything was absolutely clean and furniture and decorations were very tasteful and in perfect harmony with the architecture. It is apparent that the hostess, Donna, pays great attention to detail. She was always there when we had any questons and was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, too.
We definitely recommend the Dawson House - a great base to explore PEI!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The hosts are amazing. The neighborhood is quaint. It's an easy distance to Charlottetown. The room was great with a comfortable and wonderful shower. It's a great value.
There is a small beach close to the property - it is very nice. Parking is available at the facility. You are about 10 minutes away from Charlotttetown city center. Anna the host is very friendly you can engage her for any requests you may have. There is a yard with a large deck for relaxing after a long day. Enjoyed our stay.
Excellent central location, easy to get to from the city, airport and to all other sights on Points East and Red Sands Shore. It's in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hubub of tourists, but close to shopping, with a plaza and Sobeys just down the main road to get your basic necessities. The bed was very comfortable, which is rare. Kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and decorated. View across the harbour was gorgeous with breathtaking sunsets. Doug gave us some excellent tips on sightseeing.
