For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Nico & Stephen make you feel right at home at their beautiful property with stunning views and an amazing golf course at their doorstep. Nico has excellent front of house manners and his significant human Stephen is a great host. Thank you very much for a fantastic evening with excellent company and conversations! We felt like visiting a friend.
Nico. The house is fabulous - stunning inside and out. The rooms are a great size with plenty of space to spread out, sort your luggage after a week of travelling and just generally relax. Steve has all the little things that make a stay special in hand. And then there’s Nico. The most placid, welcoming, charming puppy I’ve met in some time. And I’m more of a cat person.
We had a great time. If we come back to Newfoundland we’ll go out of our way to stay here again.
Our host was great, and accomodated us for an early breakfast. The property is in a fantastic private location. Our room was wonderful, and the bed was super comfy. The dog was well-behaved and friendly, but not too much so.
The Bed and Breakfast was great. Stephen and Nico are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The location, view and house are beautiful. A short drive to and from Corner Brook. I would recommend the Thoughtful Dog to anyone travelling to the Corner Brook area
Steven was a great host, he made sure we were well taken care of and gave good advice regarding our next travel destination, Gros Morne. Also, the breakfast was awesome.
The location was amazing, just far enough from the city to enjoy the country side with breath taking views. Steve and Miko were both outstanding! Steve's knowledge of the area and warm hospitality was a treat for sure. If your looking for a quiet place to unwind with a wonderful host and exceptional value the thoughtful dog is the place for you. I would rate this place 10 stars if that were an option.
