We appreciated the warm welcome from Priscilla and Doug. The bedroom was very spacious, the beds were quite comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Even though we didn't use the backyard amenities, they are beautiful and well-kept. Breakfast was generous and everything was very clean.

The property is lovely, quiet and getting to be with all the animals was amazing for both my child and me. Greeting horses each day and night was awesome. The staff is very friendly and it is easy to just whip up to Parksville or Coombs and come back.

This was an exceptional experience. We watched all sorts of birds through the huge windows against the backdrop of the estuary. The property was smartly built and was very quiet, just birds, frogs and a water fountain could be heard. The host Harold was very friendly and told us about his adventure to build this place. A map of the region that he drew showed us parks, hikes, and restaurants. A comfortable tub on the patio in front of our room allowed us to relax after our hikes, surrounded by trees and birds.

Peter and Jen made me very welcome right from our first meeting. The private en-suite room ‘though small contained everything and more that I needed including 3 cans of a local beer. The bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful and hot and it was pleasant to sit and relax on the patio. The beautiful Moorecroft park is only a short distance away.
