Nice little BnB, in a suburban neighborhood a few miles from Le Gorge. Lovely people. Nice, mostly homemade French-style continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. *Much* better price and availability than lodging in nearby northern NH and VT. I wasn't even planning on traveling into Quebec, but I'm glad I did, because it's lovely!

Au Coeur des Jardins, hotel in Coaticook

Situated within 14 km of Foresta Lumina and 14 km of Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Au Coeur des Jardins features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Compton.

The authenticity of the place was appreciated. Antique, rustic and near-original cracking floors. Code-locks for all rooms and home entrance allows you to feel safe The 2 level all-round balcony gave options to either follow or hide from the sun. The valley view (eastern view) was nice. The place has 2 bedrooms and one large suite with 2 bedrooms(family). That in itself makes the place intimate.

The grounds of the property were impressive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They think of every comfort at this hotel, from the seating areas around the lake to the blankets to cozy up by the fire in the evenings. The restaurant views are stunning, a truly enjoyable experience!

Auberge La Chocolatiere, hotel in Coaticook

Nestled on the shores of Massawipi Lake in the centre of North Hatley, this chocolate-themed inn offers a lake view. It features a restaurant with fireplace and an on-site boutique.

The location was lovely but the town its self was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was very good. I'm sure you hear this alot , an English menu would be nice. I can get one any where else in the world. Quebec you need to do better. It's very inhospitable.

La Maison Bleue du Lac Wallace, hotel in Coaticook

Featuring a private beach area, garden and views of lake, La Maison Bleue du Lac Wallace is set in Coaticook, 25 km from Foresta Lumina.

The property looked even better than it did on the photos and was in a superb location overlooking Lac Wallace. It was my first time staying in a B&B, and if they're ran like this, I'm sold! Monique was such a nice host and essentially made our weekend with how warm and kind she was. She helped us with plans in the area, chatted with us when she popped by and was super nice during breakfast. As for the room, the King bed is huge, and even though it wasn't listed in plain sight on the listing, it includes access to a shared living room with TV (was private on our visit) and an outdoor area overlooking the lake, plus a private bathroom (the bathroom isn't attached to the room, fetch pyjamas!) Breakfast was lovely every morning, served on the balcony and was fresh. We would absolutely stay here again if we plan to visit Coaticook again :) thanks Monique and Jean, you were fantastic!

What a fabulous property La Maison Bleue is with the stunning views of Lake Wallace and the beautiful furnishings. But, what makes this bed and breakfast exceptional is the host Monique. It is clear that sharing her home with others is a passion. The breakfast was one of the best I had ever had. She has a way of making all her guests feel like welcome friends.
