For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
This is quite an exceptional looking building and I can see why it's main income will be from hosting weddings during the season. It's in a pretty quiet spot and our room was nicely designed, albeit feeling a little out-dated with decor.
Burke and Ken are great hosts. The place is beautiful, so is the garden and the amazing breakfast. Clean, welcoming, right temperature inside, we had a great time and we felt like Ken and Burke are our new friends.
Third time at Burken B and B and we just love it there. Our host are smart, funny, and sooo nice! Breakfast is just a pleasure and the rooms are lovely and comfortable.
Burke and Ken were super friendly and approaching. They are wonderful hosts. We had an excellent breakfast, everything is very cosy and clean. And for those who love antique cars, you could not find a better place!
