In addition to being one of the old houses built with quality materials, the view overlooking the lake in the city center was inspirational. I felt like I was in a Swiss village. Plus the owner, Tony couldn't have been helpful. He helped me with a transportaion suggestion that proved to be really helpful. If you want glitz, go to the hotel at the top of the hill, but if you want a apartment stay with some autheniticy, this is the place.
