Amazing kitesurfing accommodation. Well, action is right next to you!! Something to highlight, the softness and the smell of the bathroom towels were just amazing. I actually felt like home - well done on that as well.

I just spent two weeks with my brilliant hosts, Janaina & Garcez, at Toca de Vo Zella and absolutely loved it. It’s the most wonderful pousada in all of my Brazilian travels.
It’s a small place with only four rooms, which makes it very easy to meet the other guests over breakfast or at the fire pit.
Rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable with tv and ac. The rooms have large front patios with hammocks, chairs and plenty of space for your kite gear. At the back of each room is a door directly into the narrow and long pool. I jumped in after every kite session.
There’s also a communal kite storage area and places to wash your gear.
There’s a root top patio to enjoy the views out over the landscape and up to the stars at night. They even had a masseuse one day on the rooftop. Loved my post kite massage at sunset there.
The breakfast is excellent. Coffee, fresh juice, fruits, eggs, meat, tapioca & pancake. Enough food to fill you up for the day.
Janaina & Garcez are always there and super friendly. They can’t do enough for you. It was sad saying good bye and they even prepared a packed lunch for my long travel day.
Location is great, I see a few comments about it, but I loved it. It’s a little bit further out but still only 5 minutes walk to the best kite launch spot in front of Exit Bar and 10 minutes to Sunset, the main spot in town. But in exchange for walking an extra minute or two, you get pure tranquility. It’s so peaceful. At night, you can see every star in the sky. The sunset views from the roof are gorgeous.
I took a risk when booking here because it’s new and had no reviews, but now it is without question where I will stay on my annual trip to Tatajuba. I’ve spent four months in 30 pousadas across 5 trips to Brazil and this is easily my favorite place that I’ve stayed Can’t wait to get back.

I just spent 12 days here and would stay longer if they had room. Such a wonderful experience. The hotel sits on a bluff, overlooking the water. Nice breeze everyday. The place is artsy and quirky, a real brazilian beach experience. The staff is so helpful. They had a great movie night one night on a large projection system in the garden. Lots of pretty plantings, and birds. This place is rustic, I would not recommend it if you are in need of luxury, but if you want a super chill experience, then this place is a must. Its a short pretty 10 minute walk to the kite beach and main cafe. The walk is lovely. I was able to secure a locker for my kiteboarding gear at the kite beach which made things ideal. Again, ir you want a super chill, homey, artsy, quirky authentic Brazilian experience, stay here if they have room. If you expect posh polished accomodations, I would look elsewhere. I look forward to coming back next year to spend time with Karina and her staff.

We just finished our second stay at Avra and we are even more pleased than the first visit.
The pool (which had not been constructed last time we visted) was an amazing addition and makes the enviroment at Avra feel like a lush oasis in the sandy dunes of Tatajuba.
All of the staff is very friendly and always had a smile on their face.
There were good quality products in the bathroom like soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Thank you Avra for another great stay, we will be back again.

Casa Pascual is a hostel and simple, don‘t expect the luxury of the places in tatajuba beach, but it was such a great experience and a lovely stay wit Karina and Sheila, cooking classes, being taken to join a great birthday party, absolutely nicest and healthiest breakfast, grwat discussions, and my favorite, cat Sophia, taking care of me❤️

Charming retreat in Tatajuba with a very relaxing and nice vibe. Beautiful setting that can be enjoyed after a day at the beach or kitesurfing. Perfectly located 50m away from the beach. We will be back the next time we will be staying in Tatajuba!
The room was very nice and with an amazing view. On high tide direct access to the kite lagoon. On low tide you have to walk a bit but even then the shower to rinse everything and sand free kite packing area at the beach was great.
We also loved that there are only 3 units so it feels really cozy and private.
The breakfast is awesome. Fresh fruit drinks every day. Every day a new fresh made cake. The lemon cake was my favourite. Performance of staff is outstanding and they prepare delicious diners. The daily dishes were freshly made and awesome in taste.
the location is fabulous, the bungalows are really quiet and right on the beach. the team is really on top, the breakfasts are delicious and the meals perfect with a little Italian touch. definitely the best we have stayed in Tatajuba
