I recently had the pleasure of staying in Startsevo for the K3 Ultra race in Zlatograd, and I can't recommend this place enough. Our host was incredibly kind, and his mother's warm welcome each time we entered the house made our stay truly special. The feeling was that we were coming home. Despite being a 20-minute drive from Zlatograd, the convenience of this location was well worth it. The recently renovated rooms were spotlessly clean, and spacious, and provided a comfortable space for coffee and relaxation.
In summary, our stay in Startsevo was exceptional, thanks to our wonderful host and his welcoming mother. Once again, I am convinced that people from the Rhodope mountain are truly exceptional. The room was a really good size, with a balcony and air conditioning on a quiet street. The furniture was really traditional style. The breakfast was the best meal I had in Bulgaria.

There is no dedicated parking but you can park on the street.
Room is spacious, the mattress and pillows are fine and some of the rooms have a nice terrace. There is also a small fridge in the room.
