We loved the place - the views over the mountain and the authentic vibe. The host was very kind to us and made us great “mekitzi” with home made jams for breakfast. He told us lots about the history and life in the village. We also visited the museum in the old school, which was set up with care and appreciation for the history of the area, so also highly recommended to see.

Everything ! The hosts, the normal hospitality in Rodopi mountains is above all. The home made tea, the home made mince meet sandwich… just everything. The village it self is amazing and preserved a lot of the true Bulgarian culture, with amazing houses. The church was also very well preserved with all wall drawings and wood works interiors.

The lake. Quiet and bright early mornings :) 07:30 AM :) with million puffs of silver white fog going out from the lake ... Quiet and cool twilights :) 08:30 PM :) with shining stars on the sky and in the lake ... Together with our home-cooked at the place food and specially selected drinks from the stores ... And the many possibilities for walks during the day ... The location was "Superb".
