Breakfast was terrific - a huge range of fresh fruit, cheese, bread, charcuterie & cooked breakfast. Serge is a generous and hospitable host who offered fascinating insight into Mechelen, his home and interests. The house is beautiful to spend time in and we very much appreciated the lovely decor and the interesting conversations we had. Location is superb - literally 2 minute walk to the centre and main cathedral. You couldn’t get a better place to stay . Thank you, Serge.

Soon as we arrived we were wow'ed by the place and nice warm welcome! We had booked for one night but decided to stay an extra day while we went to check out Brussels as it was short 40min drive and we thought it was worth staying another day! We really loved the relaxed atmosphere! it felt like we had visited friends! we enjoyed hanging out by the pool and chatting with the hosts and learning about them and their lifestyle. We also totally fell in love with all the animal members of the family :) the dogs! cats! chickens :) very sweet. Breakfast was also great.

Dusk till Dawn is beautifully decorated and was very welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was Dusk which overlooked the lovely church. Breakfast was relaxing, delicious, fresh and very well considered; a perfect start to the day.
The location is excellent and I was easily able to walk to everything I wanted to see in Mechelen.
The hosts are kind and considerate and have created an environment that is both high quality and homely.
