When arriving we got invited into the house by the host (and a very sweet dog) and sat around the kitchen table where he explained everything to us. In the morning we joined the family at the kitchen table again for a chat, and a very luxurious breakfast with freshly baked eggs and bacon, fruits, yoghurt, buns, and even chocolate buns! :) The location is very calm and quiet but still close to the city centre where there is a variety of cozy bars and restaurants.
Housed in an authentic Haspengouw-style courtyard farm dating back to the 18th century, B&B De Oude Winning is located in Riemst.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very stylish, cozy, clean and comfortable apartment, surrounded by peaceful and quiet area. Perfectly equipped- you feel like home. The host was incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay unforgettable.
The house is located in the quiet neighbourhood with a nice garden. Officially our check-in time is 16:00 but the owner is so lovely and accept for us to check-in from 15:00. The room has enough things that you might need: watercooker, coffee, tea,….. with a clean private bathroom.
10+ for the owner because she is so friendly and nice. Never hesitate to recommend this place for visitors. Give it a try if you travel in this region.
Perfect place to be! I just loved the room and the quiet place! This hotel is like a little diamond.
Nobody will image such a place behind this building!
Owls and Jacuzzi included!
I enjoyed my shor time there a lot!
Perfect breakfast with a nice speech with the owners!
We traveled on business (5 people) staying 3 working days plus 2 days on the weekend. We wanted accommodation at : a quiet, peaceful and comfortable place - close to Genk (in this case 15 km). Good point from which to explore Maastrich and the surrounding area The Farm - exceeded our expectations :) It turned out to be a very convenient spot for both : work and relaxation. I highly recommend it ! and if we will travel with a larger group again, we will definitely come back ;-)

This was a proper privately run bed and breakfast with many personal touches. We loved that it did not have the commercial anonymous feel that many places have. Our host was really helpful and went above and beyond with help and support and showing our children the animals. The breakfast was also really fantastic. We were very glad that there was availability when we were in Bilzen. It was close to the train station, which is what we were looking for.
